The Regional Resilience Portfolio Program is supporting nine regional partnerships, based on COG geographies in Eastern North Carolina, to develop a vulnerability assessment and a portfolio of priority resilience projects that reduce risk and increase resilience for the region. The portfolio program will combine analysis and planning in the following steps:
Each regional partnership will create two final products: A vulnerability assessment that stands alone, but is also appropriate for integration into regional and local plans, grant applications, public presentations, and other planning tools; and the regional resilience portfolio, which will include goals, a summary of the vulnerability assessment, selected priority projects, and the implementation plans for the priority projects.
