Funding from the NC Office of Recovery and Resiliency's Affordable Housing Development Fund – Haywood County program will support single-family homeownership development in addition to the rehabilitation and construction of affordable rental housing. Single-family homeownership development supports affordable housing through new construction by providing homeownership to individuals and families classified as low- to moderate-income in storm-impacted counties.
Interested organizations can attend this virtual information session to learn more about the program's single-family homeownership development component. Haywood County will begin accepting Letters of Interest (LOIs) from qualified public, private and nonprofit organizations to apply to the program on Jan. 15, 2024.
